President

Nicholas Offord is the President of the Offord Group, and provides comprehensive counsel to our clients.

One of Canada’s most respected leaders in institutional advancement, Nicholas Offord created The Offord Group in 2005, after a prestigious career directing the fundraising efforts of Canada’s most philanthropically successful institutions. He spent 10 years as President of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, where his community of donors and volunteers contributed $250 million towards the hospital’s landmark Best Medicine Campaign. Prior to that, Nicholas was the Executive Director of Development at McGill University, where he transformed the fundraising infrastructure into a nationally recognized program.

He has served as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister of Health for Ontario with a focus on health care reform. In 2000, he was named one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 by ROB Magazine. He serves on several boards of charities, including as Vice Chair of the Canadian Museum of Nature, in Ottawa.
