Jennifer Bizzarri brings 25 years of experience in fundraising and communications to the Offord team. Her affiliation with Offord Group began in 2013 when she worked as an independent creative partner of the firm in writing Offord’s Cases for Support. She joined the firm as a Senior Consultant in 2017 and now provides leadership in the firm’s Communications practice while offering strategy, communications and fundraising counsel to clients across the health, education, social service and arts sectors.
Prior to becoming a consultant in 2011, Jenn was the Director, Marketing & Communications at Greenwood College School, a new independent school established in Toronto in 2002. As one of the school’s founding staff members, she and her colleagues created a complete Advancement operation from scratch, building up the Greenwood brand, producing award-winning communications and devising and executing fundraising strategy. Jenn also spent several years with the University of Toronto as both a Senior Development Officer and as the Associate Director (Alumni Relations). She worked in corporate fundraising with the National Ballet of Canada. Jenn began her fundraising career in 1994 when she was awarded a McConnell Fellowship to work in advancement at McMaster University.
Jenn is the editor-in-chief of Offord’s annual magazine, Perspectives in Canadian Philanthropy. She is a faculty member at the Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS) Leadership Institute. Her freelance writing has appeared in The Globe and Mail, Canada’s national newspaper.
